Meet the writer Fred Asman

Hello Everyone,

I’m Mr. Fred, and I love to write. I started writing my stories for my kids, and now I have the opportunity to share them all with you. The first book I’m sharing is one I wrote for my son. It’s called “Weston Magoo and the Tower of Moo”.

When I’m not writing, I spend my time relaxing with my family, coaching, and visiting schools. On my visits to schools and libraries, I read my book for kids, then we discuss the stories and I answer any questions the kids may have, including those on book writing or illustrating.

I have lived my entire life in Wisconsin (maybe that’s why I have so many cows in my book). My education includes a bachelor’s degree in English and a master’s degree in counseling. This unique combination helps me to connect with my readers and audiences. My wife Isa and my kids are the biggest critics of my work, so my readers can be sure the stories are perfect before I share them.
